There are quite a few supporting roles (Chez Mom and Dad take the lead, hands down) mentioned in this blog and I thought it’d be nice to mention them briefly. These are people who eat with me, feed me and motivate me to keep working persistently on my blog.

Mike
Mike is the reason why I, literally, have a blog, webspace and a spiffy URL. Since he also has admin rights, he get to read and look through everything before anyone else whenever I’m working on something in secret for this website. When I can run 5 miles all at once, we’re going to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate. (Yes, it’s counter-productive.)

Angela
Angela and I first met as Chemistry lab partners. There we bonded like two happy atoms while mixing and measuring chemicals. While she doesn’t live in the city year-round, she’s a true New Yorker at heart, since she has an open mind and an open stomach.

Dannyson
Dannyson currently lives in a land far, far away: Rochester But from what I’ve heard, he’s been into gourmet cooking. Let’s just say, when the guys called me from Roch, they were all working on making chicken cordon bleu. Dannyson can also brew his own beer and make cheesecake from scratch…without any cracks on the top.

Dorcas
Dorcas is also known as my other half, because 95% of the time, we have the exact same preferences for food choice or where to go and what to do when we get there. And often, especially when we went to school together, finding one often meant finding (or at least knowing) where the other half would be.

Erick
Erick and I have a growing list of foods and places to try them at in New York City. We go on escapades together and try to get things off the list, but that never seems to work. Instead, the list just keeps growing.

Eugene
Eugene’s crazy. I say this because he took orgo, bio and physics along with some advanced science class…all at once. When he isn’t workin in the lab counting worms or watching insect porn, he’s stayin’ alive on his rollerblades and the slopey hills of Ithaca. Sorry ladies, he’s not single.

Ian
Ian writes. A lot. Our conversations often inspire to me think differently, because he’s stubborn (no, not really…) so we have ideas intermingle and sometimes conflict. He can make brownies and lasagna, but still insists I bake him a caramel pie.

Lindsay
Lindsay (Linz) is the one who ended my bottled-frappucino days by making plans with me to go to Starbucks years ago. We keep up this tradition of going to Starbucks together once a year, around the same date of our very first visit there.

Randy
Randy’s my brother. He’s not home except on winter breaks and the summer. He’s a grad student right now, which has turned out to be an opportunity to cook for himself in his apartment in Ithaca.

Robert
Robert is Mr. Chemistry and he really knows how to find good food near campus as well as in the different boroughs of New York City. Also, not only does he know where to find good food, he knows what to order no matter how overwhelming a menu can be.
