While most people pray before they eat, I prefer to take pictures. 
Although this began as a way to exploit the features of my Canon Powershot A60, it has become my favorite way of documenting and garnishing what would otherwise be a bland soup of words on a webpage.
The kitchen counter was, arguably, where I spent most of my free time in my childhood. It was there that I watched my mom mince, chop and slice through fresh ingredients to prepare all our meals, while I asked her questions of why this, how come that and of course, what’s this? After years of standing on my tiptoes to watch my mom cook, I developed my own interest in cooking and appreciation for food.
The name, Chubby Bunny, comes from the fact that my brother once told me I look like a bunny: my nose flattens out when I smile like bunny nose. And the chubby part, quite obviously, began when my greater appreciation for food began in Italy. Yes, after spending 5 weeks living in Italy, my body reflected my well-satiated palate.
Maybe we could say I’m an amateur foodie with some kitchen skills. I really appreciate food and give great consideration when deciding what to eat or prepare. While I haven’t mastered pastries and cakes, I have decent maneuver around more basic desserts. As for dishes that can actually be eaten as a meal, I remain an explorer.
Life is short. So please, eat well.
