Frozen Food: Xiao Long Bao Returns

So the next day (today,) he went food shopping with Mom and they bought these: Chef Kong’s Siu Long Bao (Xiao Long Bao.) These XLBs were okay. The shape was nearly perfect, but the dough was too thick. It was very much like a bun in that respect, but Mom kept complaining about it. She prefers well-cooked dough for any dumplings/buns.
As for the filling? There was a fair amount of meat inside, but not a lot of soup in the dumplings.
Overall, it was okay and moderately filling, but they are incomparable to the first-time frozen XLBs my parents ever bought into our household. Maybe we’ll have them after we finish eating this batch?
