McDonald’s Can’t Do This…

In recent months, I have discovered my affinity for the English muffin. Yes, I did not like them as a kid. But now, I’m crazy about them. It’s like how I didn’t like the crust on bread as a kid and grew into not minding and now I actually enjoy it.

What can you do with an English muffin? Oh, so many things.

Eggs

It can be served with really soft curdles of scrambled egg goodness. With cheese.

Crab

There’s always some imitation crab sticks and pepper to go with it.

English muffins are rather versatile as long as you are creative. They make great snack-sized sandwiches and are pretty good accompaniments to eggs rather than regular toast or baguettes. I don’t recall ever making scrambled eggs with such fluffiness too, but that’s a different story.

Unless you’re Erick, who someone gets the little grains stuck between his teeth, really, revisit the English muffin. And maybe you’ll like it too.
